My Final Major Project

 In my Final Major Project, I will be using my band's resources and promote these, by recording, mixing and mastering an EP ready for release, and perform a show to promote the release of this EP.

In this process I will guide you on our Bands Journey, showcasing what we've been doing, and including any research, that we do.

We currently have 3 tracks written and plan to write a few more, so we can then choose definite tracks for the EP.

The plan is to release a 4 track EP

We also have another track that we have nearly finished, we are planning on playing this live at the Marrs Bar Wednesday night Jam, this track is Called Final Departure.

Introduction

I am Sergio Afonso, I'm 31 years old and I am originally from Portugal.

My connection to music has always been very dear, due to most members of my family being connected in some way to the industry.

I started playing the guitar when I was 15 years old, and have progressed slowly since then, as a grew older I showed my interest in the industry through wanting to find out more on how to set up Hi-fi systems at home, helping my Father to set his light shows.

At an older age I started writing my own guitar riffs, was in a band, but life then happened and I had pause music for a while due to not having enough time, working at that time was a higher priority.

Now at 31 years old and after setting up my own business, I was graced with spare Time I could use to follow my dream, So I decided to join Kidderminster College, to help me build my portfolio, after finishing this UAL course I have plans to join University in a Music Production/live engineering course.
